Biography

Catelyn grew up on a farm and ranch just outside of Brookville, Kansas.
She received her Bachelors degree in Human Nutrition with a Secondary in Gerontology from Kansas State University in May 2020. She then graduated with her Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) at the University of Colorado Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant Program on Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado in May 2023. During the three-year innovative curriculum at CU, she received additional training in pediatric medicine, behavioral health and was in the Rural Health Track program where she enhanced her skills for rural health populations.

In her free time, Catelyn enjoys being outdoors and staying active by playing volleyball, pickleball, or taking her Chocolate Lab, Moose, for walks. She also loves helping on her family farm and ranch when she has spare time. Catelyn and her husband, Abe, are huge sports fans so you will catch them at various Scott City Sporting Events as well as K-State events throughout the year.

Catelyn is excited and honored to have the chance to begin her career at Scott County Hospital. After having the opportunity of clinical rotations here as a PA student, Catelyn fell in love with the hospital and the people working here. "I couldn't think of a better place to begin my career, as it reminds me of home and my small town, rural community roots."
