Melissa Batterton, APRN-BC, is a native of Bixby, Oklahoma. Melissa joined Scott County Hospital in 2014. Before coming to Scott City, she worked at Via Christi Hillsboro Family Practice from 2003-2011 and St. Luke's Physician Clinic from 2011-2014 as a family nurse practitioner.
Melissa received both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Family Nurse Practitioner degrees from Wichita State University. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is ACLS and PALS certified.
Melissa is married to Shawn and together they have two sons, Carson and Reed. Outside of work, she enjoys jogging, church activities, spending time with family, knitting and gardening.
